Macadamia: review (+my hair story)

Hello!

When i was little i had long, thick, strong hair. I always got a lot of compliments and i thought of my hair as my best feature. As years went by i got very bored with my straight, long, brown hair (ahhh, doesn´t this just sound boring?) so i decided to make a change. This was around the time, when ombre hair was becoming trendy. I loved how it looked on other people, so after long consideration i went for it.

Even though i don´t regret making that decision, after a while because of the bleach, curling and straightening, my hair lost all the strength, the ends were dry and damaged and it was impossible to style it. All the products that i used to fix it, seemed to make things even worse and i was really desperate. Then i browsed around YouTube and stumbled upon Macadamia Deep Repair Masque reviews. Everyone raved about it, but i still had my doubts.

Because it seemed like there was no other solution, in December of last year i decided to purchase promotional pack, that included Deep Repair Masque(100ml), Healing Oil Treatment(30ml) and Shampoo(100ml).

Since my hair was really damaged i didn´t really notice a difference at first, but after a few treatments my hair improved, it became a lot more manageable, it looked shiny again and healthy. The mask smells amazing(actually all of these products do), it is in a thicker form, it makes you hair soft, shiny, detangled and it leaves them smelling so good. The oil moisture's the ends, it reduces split ends and even though it is an oil, it does not leave your hair looking oily. I was and still am very pleased with this products.

In the beginning i used Deep Repair Masque every time i washed my hair, which is around 2-3 times a week, on the days that i didn´t wash my hair i used the Oil Treatment on my ends. Now that my hair has improved i use the mask once every 2 weeks, because i don´t want my hair to get used to it to much. It is recommended to use it 1-2 a week. And i use the Oil Treatment on my ends, when i think they look dull, dry, ... so about 1-2 a week. To be honest i don´t really use the shampoo. It is OK and all, but i think that every drugstore shampoo does the same job cleaning your hair, for a lot less money.

In conclusion i really recommend these products. Yes, they are quite pricey, but last a long time and really make a difference. And they also don´t test on animals, which is definitely a plus in my book.

Grade: 5/5 hearts

Have you tried Macadamia products? What are your thoughts?

Have a nice day
xoxo,

Nina
