Catrice Cosmetics Bonjour Chérie! nail polish

Well hello,

you should know by now how much I love neutral nail polishes since I am always talking and raving about them. As you can probably tell from the title I have another one that I absolutely love, to share with you.

Catrice Cosmetics Ultimate Nudes Collection is my favourite. I think I will own all of them pretty soon If I continue at this pace. Anyways back to the beautiful peachy-nude shade  polish called Bonjour Chérie! or number 05. Ahh...even the name is the cutest thing ever. These polishes are really good quality, they don´t chip as much as all the other drugstore nail polishes and the color selection is  phenomenal. This shade is quite sheer, but with two coats comes out pretty opaque. The color is really elegant and  subtle, it would suit all ages and you can wear it in all seasons and on all occasions. It really is a great product, I have  been wearing it  for three weeks straight. Love, love, love.

Do you own any Catrice nail polishes? Any favourites?

Mac Warm Soul Blush review

Well hello,

this is my first Mac mineralize blush.Well technically it is not mine it´s my sisters but every time I get a chance I steal it from her. Sorry Sis! Ha ha. In all honesty it exceeded all my expectations and I am seriously debating weather I need one of my own. A few times a month it is just not enough.

Warm Soul doesn´t look like too special in the pan, but it warms up the skin tone and it makes the skin look so radiant. Since it is mineralize blush, it has tiny golden sparkles, in a way it is a highlighter and a blush in one. In a pan it appears a bit deeper but on the skin it looks fairly peach. Though I am sure It looks different on everyone, depending on your skin tone and your undertones. This one suits yellow undertone  the best. But looks stunning on everyone. The pigmentation is really great, a little goes a long way. And as all the Mac products it is really long lasting. The packaging is as always very sleek and compact, great for traveling.

I really do love it and I recommend it for everyone. Definitely a Mac must have. What is your Mac must have?

Love,

Mini Lush Haul

The Comforter Bubble bar

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Luxury Bath Melt

Well hello,

lately I have been really stressed due to school projects and not enough time. But luckily I have found comfort in Lush bubble baths. No matter how I am feeling, taking a bubble bath relaxes me, it slows me down and I always feel better and refreshed afterwards. And it always brings those fun childhood  memories. There is nothing better then laying in a hot bubbly water that smells like heaven. It has become a part of my Sunday routine and since I ran out of bath bombs I had to take a little trip to Lush.

I generally love sweet smells, so even though I wanted to branch out and try something new for a  change I just couldn´t help myself. What can I  say, I know what I like. Ha ha. I have chosen The Comforter Bubble Bar again, because It´s my fave so far. It smells divine, it turns water into pretty pink color and it creates tons of bubbles. It really is amazing. The next one I bought is a Luxury Bath Melt called  Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment. This one is suppose to be very moisturizing to the skin, because it contains oil. And it is candy scented. Who doesn´t like candy? I haven´t tried this one before but I can´t wait.

Which is you´re fave Lush Bath product? Any recommendations?

Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Highlighter

Well hello,

I am sure It´s hard to believe, but this is my first highlighter ever. That´s right. I have been eyeing this one for the longest time, but I just wasn´t sure I want glowy cheeks, since I am loving the Matte look. But recently it was on sale and you can clearly tell what happened  next. I caved in.

And I don´t regret it the slightest. It really pulls the look together. It doesn´t look anything special in the pan, but creates subtle golden glow in the light. It is not too shimmery, but there are a few fine shimmers in it. Since this is my first highlighter I don´t really have anything to compare it to. All I know is I love it and I want more. Ha ha.

The packaging is very simple and sleek, just like the rest of Prime and Fine line. It´s travel friendly and very elegant looking. The highlighting powder is very fine and  it blends well. It lasts throughout the whole day and  it´s quite pigmented, you only need a little bit. The shade I have chosen is the lightest in number 010 and It´s called Fairy Dust. I do find it quite light, but I think it would suit darker skin tones as well, because of the golden shimmer.

I am really impressed with the quality of this product. Both packaging and the powder itself are really good, which doesn´s surprise me at all. Catrice Cosmetics never lets me down. Next one on my  list is theBalms Mary-Lou manizer.

Do you like using highlighter? Which is your favourite?

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette review

Well hello,

I know I am really late with this one, since everybody has already moved on to Naked 3 palette, but this palette is so amazing I had to give my two cents on it. I purchased the Naked 2 palette back in October of last year, just a little before the Naked 3 came out. I had no idea it was coming out, but to be really honest I would probably still choose the second one, because I think the colors suit me a lot more.

I know there are different opinions on the Naked palettes but I am completely in love with mine. I have been using it ever since I got it. True, it is not the most wearable palette if you don´t like wearing shimmery eye shadows on every day basis, but it is still pretty neutral and wearable to me.

It has 12 highly pigmented eye shadows, most of them shimmery, three of them are matte finish, but if you look really closely they still contain a few shimmers here and there. But nothing noticeable while wearing the eyeshadows. The colors are quite warm, there are gorgeous highlight colors like Bootycall and Foxy, beautiful golden and coppery colors and darker brown and black for the smoky eyes. Basically it has everything you need for a complete look and you can make tons of different looks using these shades. And  the name of the shadows are so cute.

As I mentioned before the pigmentation is really, really good, the shadows last forever, the only bad thing is that they have quite a bit of fallout. I had a bit of problems with one of the shades, Foxy, since it didn´t show up at all and that is why I don´t have a swatch on it. But I have been trying to make it work and it looks like I had to come under the first layer and now it is a lot better. But this was probably just mine.

from left to right: Half baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease and Snakebite

from left to right: Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted and Blackout

My favourite  colors are Tease, Bootycall, Half baked and YDK, but all the shades are beautiful. The lack of matte finishes makes it a little challenging to find everyday, subtle looks, but I have been enjoying wearing Bootycall on the lid and Tease in the crease. And I got a lot of compliments on it as well.

Packaging is very compact and sturdy, which makes it great for traveling. Also it comes with a huge mirror, Double sided brush and a lip gloss. I am really impressed with the brush, it´s very soft and great quality. One side is flat for applying the eyeshadow on the lid, on the other is a blending brush. As the name suggest it is meant for blending the eye shadows. The lip gloss I didn´t like whatsoever. It had a minty taste and it had a plumping effect, which I don´t really like. Plus it was pretty sheer.

Do you own any of the Naked palettes? Which one do you like the best?

Love,
