Beauty wishlist: All about Benefit

Well hello,

I haven´t posted a wishlist in a while. There are still so many beauty products I want to try. Especially high-end ones. Since I´m planning a little trip to Sephora I decided to show you products I have my eyes on. I find that it´s the best to plan my purchases ahead to avoid any impulse buys. So what are the products I am leaning towards? Keep reading to find out...

There are no Sephora stores in Slovenia so when I do get a chance to go, I hit it hard. Ha ha. I have been lusting over some Benefit products for ages and it looks like I will finally get to enjoy them. Can´t wait. Anyways my number one product I want to try out is the infamous Porefessional. I have been having some trouble with primers. None of them seemed to do as promised and I always end up trowing the products away. I really want to try Porefessional and fingers crossed this one works for me.

Lately I have been having a thing for highlighters. Which is such a  surprise, since I always preferred Matt finish make-up looks. Still, I really want to try High beam highlighter. I looks so gorgeous on everyone and it will probably look amazing on the summer nights out. I am a little intimidated by  the application. To be honest I do not know how the whole thing works but it is worth the try, right?

You may notice the summer theme, as the next product is nothing else but Hoola bronzer. Another very famous and loved Benefit product. I heard nothing but great things about this one as well. I looks very soft and subtle. And the color looks just right. Some people say it´s too orange, but I think it just might  work for my skin tone. What do you think?

And you know I just had to throw in a blush. Seriously, I have a problem. Still, I want to try one of their boxed powders/blushes. The ones that really stand out to me are Coralista and the newest Rockateur. But I will decide once I see these in person.

All of these are very predictable choices, but for a newbie in Benefit beauty products it seems like a great start. Hopefully I will like what I end up choosing and as always I will be sharing my thoughts with you, once I try the products out. I would love your recommendations. What should I choose?

Love,

  1. The Porefessional is a great primer, I bought it last year, still have it and use it, as all you really need is a tiny amount! I've tried the Dallas blush, I use it as a bronzer in the summer, when I'm tanned as it's a dark colour... Rockateur must be beautiful, I haven't tried it yet! As for High Beam, I would recommend a dupe! The Revlon Photoready Skinlights in Pink light! Cheap, big packaging -it's going to last almost forever- and very light, non sticky! It's my favourite at the moment and I use it every day!

    1. Thank you so much. I love finding dupes, so I am definitely going to check it out. And you sold me on The Porefessional, haha ;) x

  2. I have the Hoola Bronzer right now, and I can say that it's amazing!! You really don't need a lot, but it never made me look orange, even if I overdid it just a little! I love the coralista blush too, but the liquid stain blushes are kinda amazing, so maybe try those out too if you haven't already!
