Hello beautiful,

- Bourjois Ultra Black mascara
- Catrice Cosmetics Skin Finish Compact Powder in natural beige (020)
- Blistex Lipbalm

Misty Jade

Hello beautiful

I wanted to share my rediscovered LOVE, Rimmel London nail polish called Misty Jade in number 045. I have been wearing it for the second week in the row, which doesn´t happen often, unless I really love the color. The color itself is really hard to describe. It´s something between green and blue. I guess the name describes it perfectly. Very vibrant and eye-catching. Beautiful and uncommon. I always get compliments on it when I wear it.

I think Rimmel London nail polishes are one of the best drugstore nail polishes out there. I own only few, because they don´t sell it anywhere where I live. Which is very said, since they are so cheap, long lasting are they come in many beautiful colors.

Do you like this color?

Current beauty favourites

Hello beautiful!

I don´t have that many beauty favourites, because I get bored very easily and I just want to try new products. Especially now, when drugstore brands are coming out with amazing new products and collections that are very affordable. So it certainly doesn´t hurt to try. Still I do have few items, that I keep coming back to.
So I want to share a few of my current beauty obsessions. Products, that I reach for on a daily basis. Hope you enjoy and share your thoughts!

When it comes to eye products I fell in love with pen eyeliner. Basically liquid liner in a pen form. I did try a few of drugstore ones, but the only one I like is the one from Bourjois called Liner Feutre. It is easy for application and it stays smudge free all day long. I will leave the details and comparisons for another blog post.

In the spirit of spring trend I have been using green eyeliner from Makeup factory in my waterline as a pop of color. The color is deep bluish green and it is called Petrol blue. It brightens up my eyes and brings some color to my face.

I am sure I already mentioned that I love a coral shade for lips. So Bourjois Peche Cosy (03) is definitely my fave lipstick at the moment. I did a review on it, so I won´t waste any more words on it. You can read it here.

You already know I love trying out nail polishes. And I have been doing that a lot. Different combinations, patterns,... but my absolutely fave is a combination of light lilac and light beige/coral. I tried combining these two colors in stripes, polka dots, you name it. It works every time. Both nail polishes are from Essence from multi dimension in colors Makes me weak (coral) and Found my love (lilac). Even the names are adorable.

The last favourite is a hair product. It is Macadamia Deep Repair Mask. The difference this product makes on my hair is just unbelievable. If you want healthy, shiny and soft hair, this is perfect for you.It is a bit more expensive, but worth every penny.

Art Deco Lip Liner

I have been on a hunt for the perfect deep fuchsia color, even though it doesn´t really fit for spring and summer. But when I really like and want something I don´t really care about trends. Anyway, I wasn´t able to find any lipsticks, instead I found Art Deco waterproof lip liner in number 91.

The color is gorgeous. Pigmentation is great and it is very easy to apply. It is very long lasting and surprisingly not drying at all. The packaging is very sleek and it feels expensive. You can wear it on it´s own, but i will probably wear a lipstick on top of it. I has a slight vampy feel to it. It is more fashionable, not everyday color. I don´t think it will suite everyone. But you should definitely try it.

I am really liking the Art Deco brand at the moment. They have a great variety of colors, finishes and they are always on point with the trends. The packaging is very sleek and cute, which is very important for all the makeup fanatics like me. The only downside is their price. Some of their things are crazy overpriced.
Have you tried any of their products? Any thoughts?

Grade: 5/5

Where have I been?

Hello beautiful,

the month of April had it´s ups and downs, so when spring break finally came around, I took full advantage of it. I took a break from blogging, thinking, studying...everything. I spend most days with my friends and family. We had karaoke day, movie marathons, shopping sprees, picnics, simply said we had lots of fun. We enjoyed good music and good food. And I really needed it.

This past week I was in the university studio for the first time, where we spend all day, taking photos of professional models. It made me really happy, because I love photography and it finally seams that I am taking action and learning about yet another one of my passions. It is a really small studio, but still effective. I took some pictures of the set.

Now there is a lot of work still ahead of me, exams, photoshoots, sewing, presentations,....but I love doing it all so it isn´t so bad. Also I am really excited for summer, as it is getting warmer and warmer. Hope you had fun in your spring break. But now it is time to get back to work. There are many more blog posts coming your way, so stay tuned. I will talk to you soon, bye :)

Love,
